Register for the Group App

Once you have filled in the Online Membership & Waiver form - use the following link to download and sign up to the SPOND app where you will find the live schedule for the club.

Your SPOND membership reuquest will only be approved once you have completed the Online Membership & Waiver form.

Terms & Conditions 

The Following Terms & Conditions applies to both Adults & Children where applicable.

​

1. The Membership

1.1 Payments are to be made either via cash or via standing order.

1.2 Your membership is a personal membership to you and may not be used by another person/ child or transferred over.

1.3 Your membership will begin after you complete this form and is approved by RSBJJ.

 

2. Fees

2.1 The member must pay the fee which is determined by the membership package chosen

2.2 If there are any changes to the membership fee, we will communicate this with you at least 14 days in advance.

2.3 Monthly fees are payable even if you/ your child chose not to attend the sessions at RSBJJ

 

3. Cancelling your membership.

3.1 Memberships cannot be cancelled prior to the agreed contract length that you have signed up for and the last payment has been made. A contract may be cancelled once the final payment has been made; this requires 30 days’ notice in writing or other accepted form of communication.

3.2 30 days’ notice is required before the Monthly Membership can be ended.

 

4. Changing the Agreement.

4.1 We may change this agreement at any time. 14 days’ notice will be given if any changes are made and communicated to you by email or message.

 

5. Marketing

5.1 By entering into this agreement, I recognize and agree to the use of any videos or photos taken of me within the gym premises or during services or class associated with RSBJJ for marketing and promotion purposes including, but not limited to social media marketing, online and print advertising, and on our website.

5.2 By entering into this agreement, I recognize and agree to the use of any videos or photos taken of my child for whom I am responsible; within the gym premises or  during services or class associated with RSBJJ for marketing and promotion purposes including, but not limited to; social media marketing, online and print advertising, and on our website.

6. Code of Conduct

6.1 The member shall respect the behavioural and operative principles and follow them on all occasions. This includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Being respectful of all members and visitors to RSBJJ

  2. Wear appropriate and clean attire and maintain proper hygiene at all times

  3. Behave in a friendly and respectful manner towards the other members in the gym as well as the staff.

  4. Not using any offensive or provoking language at any time during the training session.

 

7. The Club

7.1 RSBJJ may open/close earlier during public holiday periods. Facilities may also close for occasional special events and seminars. Notice of these events will be communicated to you in advance notifying members of any changes. No refunds will be available for these periods.

7.2 We may change the clubs’ opening times or withdraw any of the facilities at any time if we need them for events, tournaments, exhibitions or other special activities.

7.3. RSBJJ sessions may also have to be cancelled due to unforeseen instructor unavailability. In the above circumstances we will use our best endeavours to:

  1. Give as much notice as is reasonably practicable by emailing you or displaying at the Club

  2. Arrange for alternative facilities during a period of closure

7.4 Your membership does not give you priority over other users or guarantee the availability of sessions.

7.5 RSBJJ the right to change the activity programme. Prior notice will be given in the club relating to activity cancellations or the introduction of new sessions.

 

8. Junior Members

8.1 If you are aged 16-17 (inclusive), your parent or guardian must sign this agreement on your behalf. By signing this agreement your parent or guardian agrees to be responsible for your behaviour and actions at all times and to pay us any amounts that are due on your behalf for the membership.

8.2 When you reach 18 years of ages,  your junior membership will end and you will automatically and immediately become a full adult member and will be required to sign a copy of this agreement.

 

9. RSBJJ reserves the right to cancel your membership without notice if you commit a material breach of this agreement including, but not limited to, a breach of the club rules, abuse or threatening behaviour or vandalism or other illegal activity.

Viewing the class 

During the session, Parents/ Guardians are welcome to wait in the sitting area provided until the session ends. Please note that we do not allow coaching/ standing from the side-lines & no interrupting of the class. It is essential that Parents/ Guardians do not shout instructions or  encouragement as this can result in confusion for the children/ instructors and upset your child’s training partner. Exemptions can be made only  under authority of the head coach/ instructor. Please contact RSBJJ directly if you have any concerns or wish to discuss further.

 

Children's Code of Conduct 

At RSBJJ we expect all participants to adhere to a code of conduct. 

​

  1. Children are not to climb on/use any gym equipment unless instructed to do so 

  2. Children are not to enter the Gym without an instructor present 

  3. No shoes must not be worn on the mats 

  4. Correct clothing/ sportswear must be worn during the session 

  5. Correct Hygiene must be observed – i.e. finger nails are cut short as to avoid injury etc. 

  6. All class participants must be respectful of each other and the instructor 

  7. Any behaviour which jeopardises RSBJJ participants and the safety of others will not be tolerated 

  8. Should the above rules not be adhered to on a consistent basis then an instructor may ask you to leave and you may not be allowed back to future  classes 

RSBJJ Waiver

You agree by signing up to the club that you accept all liability for your own safety and well-being, and that the club takes no responsibility for any injuries or physical harm that you may experience during or as a result of training. You undertake training at your own risk with full awareness that you may injure yourself and that this is your sole responsibility and outside of control of RSBJJ.

 

You accept that any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect your ability to safely attend the gym are your responsibility to disclose and to manage, and that the gym's staff are not necessarily trained to provide medical assistance in relation to these or any other medical conditions you may experience or encounter.
